Tolerance Amongst People believes we can become "one" through sports. One what? One race...the human race. One of our favorite quotes of all time from the creator of the Olympic game "Through Sport, We Are World" -Pierre Cubin, has been the lifeline and pulse of our company ethos. Not only do sports, recreation, competition, health, and wellness mean the world to us, it is literally the reason for our existence.

Sports have the ability to bring people together from different cultures, nationalities, and backgrounds. It has the ability to stop wars and start negotiations and friendships as we have seen in geopolitics in the past.
This dates back centuries and has been upheld to this very day. Let's use the Olympics as an example. The Olympics provide a platform for cultural exchange and understanding between nations, as athletes and spectators can learn about different customs, traditions, and ways of life.
The games inspire global cooperation on important issues, such as human rights, environmental protection, and social justice.
The Olympic games also promote peace or "Tolerance Amongst People". They have the potential to promote peace & unity between nations by providing a peaceful forum for competition and dialogue, and by emphasizing the shared humanity of all people. In our eyes, the power of sports is really endless, but below we have briefly listed a few ways, we believe, that sports unite us as a people.

Shared passion: Sports create a shared passion among people around the world. Whether it's soccer, basketball, cricket, or any other sport, millions of people love watching and playing sports, and this shared passion brings people together.
International events: International sporting events such as the Olympics, World Cup, and Commonwealth Games provide a platform for athletes worldwide to compete against each other. These events attract millions of viewers and fans and provide a sense of unity and camaraderie through friendly competition among people from different countries.
Cultural exchange: Sports can help facilitate cultural exchange between different countries. When athletes and fans travel to different parts of the world to participate in or watch sporting events, they are exposed to new cultures, traditions, and ways of life. This can lead to greater understanding and appreciation between different cultures.
Sports diplomacy: Sports can also be used as a tool for diplomacy and peace-building. Governments and organizations can use sports to bridge divides and bring people together. For example, the Ping-Pong Diplomacy between China and the United States in the 1970s helped to ease tensions between the two countries. This may be needed again!
Human connection: Sports create human connections. When people participate in or watch sports, they experience a range of emotions, from joy and excitement to disappointment and frustration. These shared experiences create a sense of connection and empathy between people, regardless of their backgrounds or differences.
Shared Experiences: Sports bring people together by providing shared experiences that can be celebrated and remembered. Fans can share in the excitement of a game-winning goal or a last-second victory, creating a sense of community and bonding.
Sports have the ability to bring people together and foster a sense of unity across the world. Whether it's through national pride, shared passion, cultural exchange, bridging differences, or shared experiences, sports unite people from all walks of life through the passion and joy they bring to each of us! If you don't want to take my word for it, travel a bit more and see for yourself. The world is a much better place when using sports as a bridge to build relationships!
